Helping seniors to stay in their home by providing services and social activities

AREA - Bethesda, MD

AGE RANGE - 15 and above

What is Little Falls Village?

Little Falls Village helps seniors who want to stay at home but need a little extra help in order to do so. The provide a neighborly hand: a ride to the doctor, the library, the supermarket, assistance with household tasks, repairs, bookkeeping, and gardening, or a friend to visit with.

In addition, Little Falls Village hosts social and educational events such as a twice-monthly LFV Speaker events at the Little Falls Library, happy hours and lunches, museum and theater outings, and more that offer continued engagement in neighborhood activities.

How do I volunteer?

Volunteers assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands, provide a hand around the house or garden, give tech support on smart phones and Zoom, and make time for friendly visits or wellness calls. LFV also welcomes volunteers to help out in the office answering phones, coordinating volunteer/member services, event planning, etc. First, volunteers should fill out this form, and then a background check. More information can be found here.
