What is Lucky Dog Animal Rescue?
Lucky Dog is a volunteer-powered non-profit dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals, and finding them loving forever homes. If you love animals, this may be your place!
How do I volunteer?
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue offers both ongoing volunteer opportunities and one-time (or multiple-time) volunteer opportunities.
Ongoing volunteers who are able to help at least one hour per month (or more!) can consider such roles as adoption coordinator, event coordinator, contract reviewer, volunteer liaison, adoption counselor, foster screener, master handler, social media, administrative support, adoption support team, or holders of Lucky Pup parties. All volunteers for these jobs must be 18 or older. You can sign up for these opportunities here.
If you're interested in volunteering but can't commit every month, Lucky Dog also needs fundraisers, animal handlers, drivers, and virtual home visitors. You can sign up for these opportunities here. These volunteers must also be 18 and up.
For youth volunteers, Lucky Dog has created a special Youth Program.
Volunteers 15 and up are welcome as office help, as volunteer liaisons, and as event assistants. Volunteers 7 and up are welcome (with an adult) at weekly adoption events, fundraising, birthday parties, classroom appearances, and transports.
