Hello! My name is Claire, and I created this website during my sophomore and junior years of high school to try to help DC area families find places to volunteer!
Essentially, this website is a one-stop shop for volunteering opportunities in the D.C. area. It also includes opportunities in surrounding areas, such as Maryland and Virginia. You'll find a comprehensive list of volunteer activities you can do depending on what type of volunteering you prefer, if you have young children you want to volunteer with, and what causes are closest to your heart. You'll also find information about some amazing local charities and testimonials from other volunteers.
